1895 - Springs and carriage wheels

1913 - Hot-wound coil springs and leaf springs

1963 - Hot-wound coil springs, torsion bars, stabilizer bars & leaf springs

1986 - Joint venture formed between Rockwell and Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing to manufacture coil springs, stabilizer bars and torsion bars

1992 - opkinsville, Kentucky site begins operations for torsion bars

1993 - Hopkinsville facility expands operating capacity to include stabilizer bars

1997 - Rockwell spins off automotive division creating Meritor Automotive

2000 - Meritor Automotive and Arvin Industries consolidate creating ArvinMeritor. The Hopkinsville facility is expanded to include coil springs

2009 - Mitsubishi Steel Manufacturing purchases Meritor's interest in the joint venture, and the new company is renamed after it's renown brand, MSSC

2010 - Coil spring operations are added in Chatham, Ontario
